My son and I found a new wetland area. It’s been pouring rain in South Florida for weeks. We went anyway. It was one of the richest days we’ve had seeing creatures. In between buckets of rain we were given a marvelous show.
My accounting here is sometimes a way for me to process experiences. Lately, much of that has been difficult emotions. And always right there in the images and the memory of the space they were made in, there’s a life lesson. This one is: Even deadwood and gray days have use.
